Investigating the Biden Administration’s Climate Spending Extravaganza
With President Biden’s tumultuous tenure in office ended, a question still lingers: how much did his administration spend on climate change? The Functional Government Initiative (FGI) has tracked down much of those taxpayer dollars in this report submitted to the Director of the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Russell Vought.
The report tracks down billions of dollars the Biden administration burned through in the name of catastrophic climate change. President Biden lavished taxpayer money on internal government climate plans, massive grants to special interests and the climate industry, and various cynically political efforts.
FGI has identified 691 potential programs that allocate significant taxpayer resources toward climate-related initiatives. The cumulative budget of these programs exceeds $713 billion – but the actual figure may be significantly higher. FGI’s report identifies opportunities for optimizing federal environmental expenditures and introducing appropriate oversight to an unprecedented infusion of taxpayer funds across agencies and programs that have lacked transparency and sufficient controls in place to monitor expenditures.
