A government watchdog group is pushing for documents related to recent coal-fired power plant standards, according to a new complaint filed against the EPA for failing to respond to their Freedom of Information Act request.
The Functional Government Initiative—a nonprofit led by former Trump administration and campaign officials—sued the Environmental Protection Agency on Thursday in the US District Court for the District of Columbia for missing the statutory FOIA deadline to produce requested documents.
