Government’s decisions, including who it hires, should be focused on what’s best for the nation and who is best qualified to do the work. The regulations it imposes on businesses should be focused on things such as health and safety, not forcing divisions upon us based on immutable characteristics. When performance is set aside for controversial “DEI” efforts, our government officials could be more of the best, brightest, and most capable, and the policies and regulations they impose on Americans can be focused on the law and not on divisive, arbitrary, and very often plainly illegal, quotas.
