The Trump administration was sued by the nonprofit National Trust for Historic Preservation over the demolition of the White House East Wing for a ballroom project. This project aims to give the White House an elegant room to host events for any administration’s foreign or domestic agenda.
Meanwhile, mounds of earth need to be moved to make way for the structure, piping and more. This earth needs to go somewhere, so why not use it in the parts of D.C. that are hurting for the stuff?
The administration already found the answer to that question: the historic golf courses in the nation’s capital.
